We began our journey in 2008 as a small waste product recycling company. With the growing demand for efficient recycling services worldwide, we scaled up our operations. Based primarily in Mumbai, our main factory, Green Earth Polypro Pvt. Ltd., is located in Taloja, and we also operate a segregation and processing center in Saki Naka. Our goal is to redefine the concept of waste management. At Arman Plastic, we collect and produce raw materials for various fiber plants and plastic factories, ensuring that our recycled raw materials are of the highest quality. We are enlisted with several prominent organizations, including Mazagon Dock Ltd., Aaykar Bhavan (Churchgate), Diesel Loco Shed (Kurla), Mahanagar Gas Limited, Tata Power Company Ltd. (Trombay), HPCL (Mazagon), and The Indian Hotels Company Limited (Mumbai), among others. Currently, we handle a monthly turnover of 700 tons of dry waste collected from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This waste is sourced from various places such as L Ward, N Ward, G North Ward, waste pickers, raddiwalas, scrap dealers, NGOs, government offices, hotels, corporate establishments, and others. The waste is segregated at our facilities at Kherani Road, Saki Naka, Andheri (E), which includes Gala No. 10 (1,200 sq. ft. for segregation), Gala No. 12 (1,400 sq. ft. for grinding of PP), Gala No. 11 (1,500 sq. ft. for producing LDPE granules), and an additional 900 sq. ft. for further segregation.

Arman Plastics collects dry waste from both residential and commercial sectors across all of Mumbai. The MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai) provides a dry waste segregation center located in L Ward, Kherani Road, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai - 400087. At our segregation center, we employ 100 waste pickers who work to segregate dry waste into 43 categories. Our monthly collection of dry waste totals 810 MT.
We follow a systematic process for waste management as outlined below:
Â
PET bottles are manually separated from the dry waste into three categories based on color: white, green, and other. On a daily basis, we collect 10 tons of PET bottles, totaling 300 MT per month. The manually pressed PET bottles are sent to our recycling plant, Green Earth Polypro Pvt. Ltd. at Taloja. At the plant, we process 315 MT of PET monthly, which is washed, processed, and converted into flex material for sale to manufacturing companies.Â
Hard plastics are manually separated from the dry waste by quality and color. We collect 60 MT of hard plastics per month, which are manually pressed and sent to our recycling plant, Green Earth Polypro Pvt. Ltd., for further processing.
Soft plastics are segregated by color and then cleaned. The cleaned plastic materials are fed into a cutting machine to break them into small pieces. These pieces are then melted in an extruder to form granules. The granules are processed in a grinding machine to achieve the desired size, after which they are packed in 50 kg bags.
Paper, craft, and white paper are manually separated and then baled for recycling. Our monthly collection of paper and craft material is 90 MT, which is sent to a recycling vendor.
Glass is collected separately and sent to a recycling company. Our monthly collection of glass waste is 60 MT.
Metal waste is collected and sent to a registered vendor for recycling. We collect 20 MT of metal waste on a monthly basis.
